I'll be frank, the quality here is really rough, as it was recorded with a Sony DV-2400 Portapak black & white video camera using a single microphone on June 13, 1978. And it's short, a handful of songs. But it's an amazing performance and an incredible concert! The patients of California's Napa State Mental Hospital were encouraged to join in on stage and it's clear that everybody was having a real good time. It's sort of strange to see the Cramps sing "I'll cut your head off and put it in my TV set" in this context. Absolute mayhem. It's much more enjoyable to watch this show using Media Player Classic (with the K-Lite Codec Pack) because MPC allows the user to zoom in, and thereby avoid the extra space surrounding the image. I like Media Player Classic more than VLC Player or any of the others I've tried out because of its latency and features.
